It is with a heavy heart that we write this message. After years of struggling, with bots, finances, time restraints, software glitches and waning interests, we have reluctantly decided to close the once great Matthew Reilly fan community, TP.net.

While this has been a place where people have united over to discuss MR's novels, that's not all TP.net has been. We wish we could offer a solution; we love this place more than anyone. TP.net (and it's prior incarnations) has been a huge part of our lives for some 10 years. We've made life long friends, had long involved discussions and debates, created together and grown as people. In an ideal world, the forum would be glitch free, we'd never have a problem user, and MR would have a new book out once a month. We do not live in an ideal world, however, and, with no time nor energy to create a new forum or make the massive changes to fix the current one (new users can't view a thing, for starters), we've had to make the hard choice to close down.

First and foremost, we'd like to thank Graham House (The Gentleman) who has, for years, devoted much time, resources, and money to keeping this place alive. Without TG, TP.net would never have come to be. We had a great run, friend.

Three guys who've devoted so much to this place, Peter Bower, Sam Chen and Matthew Downey, also need massive thanks. They've worked for the MR fan community for over decade, and have given more than their share. Our Junior Moderators, past and present---Sakic, TempleCat, Abaddon and ArkansasAnna---have kept Peter, Sam and MD all sane and made the work enjoyable and all worthwhile. They've become close friends, not just colleagues. Naturally, I'd also like to thank Roy Govier for his constant presence and devotion to the MR community --- while never a moderator at TP.net, he has always been part of the team and a great friend.

An extra special thank you to anyone and everyone who has donated to the TP.net fund --- no matter how small your donation may have been, it kept us going as long as we did.

Finally, thank you to all the fans who've graced our boards. It's been an experience, one that has shaped all of us. We're grateful for the support you've given us, and thank you for everything.

While TP.net is dying here, we hope the friendships you have formed never fade. We have a TP.net group over on Facebook --- just search for "The Presidian Reunion Group" and feel free to join us.

We wish we were Mother, and you'd click on the next page to discover us alive and well. And if you have a solution to give us an artificial leg, metal skull and pacemaker, we'd be all ears. But, for now, this is it. We're opening the doors and letting Bert, The Friendly Karanadon, have the feast for which he's been waiting. Thank you for the ride.

Regards,
The Presidian Administration and Moderation Team
