Forum and Chat Room Rules

The Presidian has rules in which members are expected to abide by to make this forum a nicer, civilised and friendly place. These rules cover a variety of aspects, so please take the time to read them. They are divided into five categories. They are:

Signup Rules
General Rules
Sub-forum Rules
Members' Prose Rules
Fan Art Rules
A side note:

Please note, that the General Rules cover the entire forum, and are expected to be abided by in ALL sub-forums.

Signup Rules

Agreement

Upon signing-up and being an active member at The Presidian, you are agreeing to abide by all of the following rules and conditions. The Moderation and Administration Staff reserve the right to change these at any stage. The Senior Moderators also have the right to deal with any problem appropriately if it is considered that any of these rules and/or conditions are breached.

Usernames

Yes, this IS a Matthew Reilly forum - but we have our fair share of Schofields, Scarecrows and Foxes already registered. Please do not sign up with the name of a character from ANY Matthew Reilly novel.

E-mail

Use a legitimate e-mail address when registering at The Presidian in order to receive your password. It is recommended that you change this password at your earliest convenience by accessing your Profile through the Communications Centre. Your email address is confidential and will only be seen by the Administrators; there is a separate box in your profile that you must fill in before your email address becomes visible to other users.

Note: With free e-mail providers like Hotmail, there is a small possibility that you may not receive your confirmation password. It is recommended you disable Junk Mail filter settings at this time.

Starting Out

The Senior Moderators have taken the time and effort to compose a series of Frequently Asked Questions. A link to these can always be found up the top right hand corner of The Presidian near the 'Sign In' button. It is greatly appreciated if you check these first to see if any question you have is there. If it is not, please contact one of the Moderators (those listed at the bottom of the General Rules), and they will be able to assist. Please DO NOT post your question on the forum if at all possible.

General Rules

Criticism

If you have negative views about something, you are allowed to express them APPROPRIATELY - this means in an intelligent manner, explaining WHY you thought something was unsatisfactory. Your opinion may not receive universal agreement, but it will be respected if you do it in an appropriate manner. If you choose to make fun of others and throw insults, you'll not only ruin the credibility of your post, YOU WILL BE BANNED.

Flaming

No verbal insults, personal attacks or derogatory/defamatory comments are to be made towards other users, Matthew Reilly or his family (in fact, be courteous and respectful and leave them out of things entirely). This includes any arguments on the public forum, in the chat room, via PMs or private email or message systems where addresses or usernames have been obtained from member profiles. Participation in heated debate may occur, but don't resort to childish put-downs. The Moderation Team, upon request or when they deem that the situation has progressed to a level that is degrading the forum community, will resolve any disagreements.

Harrassment

No forum member is to harass another either through repeated flaming or various other forms of abuse - whether on the forum or through private messages. Each forum user has the right to bring their concerns before a Moderator if they feel another user is mistreating them. Senior Moderators will handle all disputes, as opposed to the direct involvement and retaliation of individual users, whether public or personal. Transcripts of Private Messages, email and/or online chats may be offered to Moderators ONLY as proof of forum-related harassment, if it is not readily visible in the discussion threads. Please only provide these if absolutely necessary, to respect the other members privacy.

Spamming

Do not make 1-word posts, or posts with meaningless content. You are allowed to make 2 posts in a row in a thread ONLY if you have sufficient reason to do so - i.e. new substantial material in an extremely old thread. It is preferred however if you use the 'edit' function to add it to your previous post with a note saying that it is new content. Excessive usage of emoticons within a post may also be considered spam, even if there is a substantial post accompanying it. The consequence for spamming can be warnings, post count reduction, Official Warnings or removal of other privileges.

Consideration

Bear in mind that your comments may be construed or perceived as offensive and hurtful by others if they are of a particular personal topic or nature. Your posts may be edited for content if complaints are made. Please take care to respect the opinions, beliefs and experiences of others, especially when discussing/arguing sensitive areas. Because of this, many topics are often Moderated VERY closely, and moved offline if they become too out of hand. These include conversations about such things as religion.

Emoticons

These are provided to accompany posts where appropriate. Please do not sign off with emoticons. Please do not use these in excess. (Decorating Birthday Threads to an extent may be an exception).

Coloured Font

Coloured font is used by the Moderation Team to attract attention to official posts or messages. Forum users may not use coloured fonts, as additional colours draws user attention away from important announcements.

Foul Language

Where possible don't swear, or at least try to curb your language. If you do not censor any offensive words, the swearing filter will - or worse, one of the Moderators. Any excessive use of foul or inappropriate language will be dealt with severely.

Language

As not everyone who visits these forums have English as their primary language, please ensure that you use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation wherever possible. This is to ensure that ordinarily simple messages do not become a trial to read.

The use of extensive and incomprehensible internet chat-room abbreviations, and also the chat form known as 'leet speak', are strictly not permitted.

Linking Sites

Do NOT link to sites that are intended for members over the age of 18 years of age (or where applicable, 21 years of age). Do not link to websites containing pornographic material, graphically violent pictures, sites containing WAREZ or morally ambiguous or incorrect sites (such as bomb-making sites).

Do NOT link to sites that contain personal opinions that may be perceived as offensive. These include comments that are racist, sexist, downgrading towards minorities of any description, or any other form of extremist view. This includes personal web-pages. Please note that members of the Moderation team investigate ALL linked pages.

Please also check your links that they do actually work.

Material

Please note that there are members at The Presidian who are under the age of 18 (or 21 where applicable).

As such, no pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit, or objectifying material is allowed - image or descriptions. Sexually suggestive images will be heavily scrutinised.

No pictures or descriptions depicting extreme and explicit violence are permitted.

No discussion of extreme illegal activities is permitted. This includes WAREZ and illegally obtaining software, etc. (See below).

The Moderation Team and Forum Administration reserves the right to remove, lock or otherwise censor unsuitable material on this website, and their decision is final. We'd like for members and guests to be able to read the forums at work/school and share with friends without fear of legal retribution.

Avatars

Avatars can be requested in the thread named Avatar Requests in the Site Development sub-forum. Please note, that the rules concerning material and images apply here too. No offensive material will be permitted to be an avatar. The final decision regarding the granting of your avatar rests with the Moderation Team. The Moderation Team have the right to request to Administration that any avatar is removed if there is complaint about it, or we are asked by the owner of the image to have it removed.

Please read ALL of the first post within that thread, that outlines various requirements/restrictions and contains helpful advice. Questions posted in that thread that are already covered within the first post will be considered spam. If in doubt, PM Black Raven.

Warez

Do not post discussions, links or requests for warez - pirated computer software, music, movies and any other illegally made and broadcast media. These will be immediately censored.

Forums

Post in the right forum! Don't post off-topic. Repeated and deliberate attempts to do so will be considered spamming. Use descriptive subject lines when starting a new topic, but check that no similar topics already exist on the forum first.

Images

Please post only images that are 150k or smaller which are relevant to the topic at hand. Check with a Senior Moderator if you are unsure about anything. Please keep in mind the above rules about offensive and inappropriate material. If an image is too big, provide a link for members instead.

Signatures

No offensive, derogatory or defamatory content is to be used. Please use the Signature function in your Profile if you wish for a quote to be displayed at the bottom of each of your posts. Placing any quotes in the main body of your thread that have no relevance to the discussion at hand might be considered spamming. Signatures are limited to 200 characters.

Including ANY graphics in your signatures must NOT be done without the express permission of the Moderators; please use the Private Message function or email to contact them.

If you are using quotes in your signature, please restrict this to ONE quote. Multiple quotes become annoying. No 'conversation' like quotes are to be used. Basically, try and restrict your signature to a few lines.

Privacy

Respect the privacy of others. Don't post anything involving their personal details (including photos, email addresses, phone numbers or anything of a similar nature) without their express permission - this includes BOTH members, and family members/friends.

The only exception to this rule involves the reporting of harassment, which is to be done ONLY to the Senior Moderation team - in which case, transcripts of any PMs, emails or online conversations with questionable content may be submitted as evidence by one party without the consent of the other.

Advice

The Presidian is not a place to seek out advice on personal matters. Any advice given, The Presidian Staff will not be held liable for consequences following if that advice is taken. In all cases, a post advising to seek more professional or qualified help will be the response to call for advice, and that thread will be closed. Therefore, do not bother, as your thread has already been answered here.

Subjects

Use descriptive subject lines. This makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Also, consider what forum your topic should be posted in. If possible, search for any similar subjects that have been made or added to in the last few days.

E-mail

Use a legitimate e-mail address when registering at The Presidian in order to receive your password. It is recommended that you change this password at your earliest convenience by accessing your Profile through the Communications Center.

Deletion

After you join you have one month to make your first post, if after one month you still have 0 posts then your account will be deleted. As long as you have at least 1 post on your account it will never be deleted.

Accounts

Only one forum account is allowed per person. It is against policy for a person to create or use multiple accounts - whether to voice opinions contrary to your own, or to emulate public opinion. Using anonymity and clandestine methods to either support your opinion or to create argument through multiple profiles will get you BANNED. If you can't get others to agree with you, then obviously your views are vastly different to those of everyone else.

We recommend you don't share your account, or your password, with another person to access the forum. If they do something wrong while logged in as you, you will get the blame, and as such, the consequences.

Activating Accounts

You have one month within registering in which to make a post and 'activate' your account. Inactive accounts will be marked for deletion after that time. Do not register if you don't intend to contribute to the forum. As long as you have at least 1 post on your account it will never be deleted.

Moderation Action

Please note that the Moderation Team can take whatever action necessary, with or without the announcement to the rest of the forum. This includes, but is not limited to, the editing of posts, post count reductions, removal of avatars, or closing of threads.

Moderators may move threads offline so that they can be reviewed for content. This can occur after any rule breach - double posting, spamming, flaming, etc. Majority of threads concerning religious debate, criticisms of Matthew Reilly's work, or extremely personal topics are moved offline frequently for review, or permanently removed.

If a thread is moved offline, DO NOT recreate the offending thread. If the creator of the original thread, or any participating members of the original thread, recreates a controversial thread deliberately (or any thread that's been moved offline), Official Warnings may be issued. Moderators do not have to explain their reasons behind the closing or removal of a thread. However, if you have any enquiries, please PM a moderator, or use the appropriate thread in Site Development.

Warnings

In the event that any rule is breached, you may receive a warning. If the rule breach is only minor, the warning may be included as part of an edit of the post in question, or you may receive a friendly PM. If repeated rule breaches occur, a post may be made in response to yours that may include blue font, which is to draw your attention to it. You may also receive another or a more serious PM.

If rule breaches are severe, or there is no attempt to take heed to the moderators friendly, unofficial warnings, Official Warnings may be issued. All Official Warnings are recorded. After a member is issued 3 Official Warnings, more serious consequences will take place, such as consideration as temporary or permanent banning.

Please Note: Only Senior Moderators are involved in the discussion and issuing of OFFICIAL WARNINGS. The issue an Official Warning is only performed after extensive discussion and agreement between all three Senior Moderators. Senior Moderators, and in some cases, the Administration team are the only staff involved in deciding, and issuing Official Warnings and any other form of punishment. This is a group decision, and is not made by any one individual. Abusing The Senior Moderation or Administration staff for a warning will simply result in another warning being issued. If you have questions about why you were given a warning, please PM one of the Senior Moderators with your inquiry. Do NOT post your query publicly on the board.

If you wish to discuss an unofficial warning further, please PM any moderator. If you wish to discuss an Official Warning further, please PM a Senior Moderator ONLY. Don't discuss the matter publicly on the forum.

Banning

You can be banned for repeated and excessive failure to abide by the forum rules, or for any SEVERE breach of any rules. Don't get a friend to sign up for you secretly if you get banned - we'll ban the new account and your friend's as well. If you feel that you were banned in error, you may contact one of the Senior Moderators via email to discuss the matter with them. Attempting to bypass your banning in anyway to continue posting on the forum may result in further and more severe action.

The Moderation Team reserves the right to publicly notify forum users in the instance that a user is banned from the forum - as well as any official warnings they might receive.

Moderators

The final decision on all matters rests with the Moderation Team. If they feel that you have broken one or more of the above rules, they will contact you privately notifying you of your error, and any action that they are taking in that situation. Ignorance is not an excuse for breaking the forum rules.

If you wish to discuss an unofficial warning further, please PM any moderator. If you wish to discuss an Official Warning further, please PM a Senior Moderator ONLY. Don't discuss any of matters regarding rule breaches publicly on the forum.

The Moderators also reserve the right to make rulings on any matters that are not expressly covered under the established rules. The Moderation Team also reserve the right to deal with any situation in any means that is deemed appropriate.

The Presidian Staff is not legally responsible in any issue that may arise where legal action may be taken. The Presidian Staff will not be held liable, nor accountable in any event. You enter this forum at your own risk.

You are welcome to contact any Moderator if you have an inquiries not covered under the FAQs/Rules, or any concerns.

We hope that these rules do not detract from the atmosphere of The Presidian, as they have been written specifically to counteract exploitation by those seeking to disrupt the friendly and warm nature of this forum.

The Moderation Team

The Presidian Moderation team is made up of volunteers dedicated to keeping The Presidian running smoothly, and to help users with their queries or problems. It is presently comprised of three Senior Moderators and two Junior Moderators working to make this forum enjoyable for you all.

If you have any questions, or queries regarding a post you have made, the forum rules, or the forum in general; or if you need to speak with a Moderator for any other reason, they can be contacted using the Private Message function, or via the email addresses listed below.

Please note that in some circumstances, a Moderator may not be able to reply immediately to your PM or Email, if your request is urgent, check to see which Moderators are online, and send it to them. Please remember to alert that Moderator if you have already sent the same request to somebody else. This will help to avoid confusion at a later date.

To send a PM to a Moderator or any specific user, simply click on the wristwatch icon located in the top-right corner of any post made by that person. You can also access the same icon through each user's profile; alternatively you can click on the PM links below.

The following people are the ONLY moderators here at the forum. If you receive a message from someone claiming to be a moderator who is not on this list, please contact one of the following with the details:

Sub-Forum Rules

Sub-Forums

Please note: The Presidian is a Fan Forum for the author Matthew Reilly. This is not a forum for focused discussion revolving around other subjects. Light conversation on other topics is accepted and appreciated, but it is expected that you are involved in Matthew Reilly based discussions at some point.

Don't post off-topic. Post in the right forum. Repeated and deliberate attempts to do so will be considered spamming. Use descriptive subject lines when starting a new topic, and always check that no similar topics already exist on the forum first – use the search function.

Subject Lines

Use descriptive subject lines, relevant to the thread. This makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Also, consider what forum your topic should be posted in. If possible, search for any similar subjects that have been made or added to in the last few days.

Matthew Reilly

The two Matthew Reilly sub-forums are Books and Movies. These are purely for discussion on Matthew Reilly, and threads only related to Matthew Reilly are to be started in here. Any threads started or discussion made not related to Matthew Reilly will be considered as off-topic and/or spam, and will be dealt with accordingly.

General Discussion

The Briefing Room is a forum for introductions and 'get-to-know-you' conversations.

The Open Mic Inn is a 'free-speech' sub-forum, to an extent. Please remember this is a Matthew Reilly Fan Forum, and as such, it is appreciated if conversation can have a link to Matthew Reilly if possible. Please note all the General Rules apply here. Repetitive or highly controversial threads will be removed, and appropriate action taken if necessary.

Gamer's Lounge is a place to discuss either real-life sports or computer games. This sub-forum is NOT to become the main focus of the forum. It is preferred if computer games discussed are linked to Matthew Reilly in some manner. If this is not possible, threads are to be original and worthwhile.

Members' Prose

The sub-forums here are for your work. Work found here is not Matthew Reilly's own work. Please read the Members' Prose Rules below.

Fan Art

The sub-forums here are for your work. Work found here is not Matthew Reilly's own work. Please read the Fan Art Rules below.

The Presidian

The two sub-forums here are:

Site Announcements- If there is a new post here, please read it. It will explain any major problems people may be experiencing with the forum, any dramatic changes, announcing new functions that have been added, or announcing there has been a change in the Forum Rules or FAQs. Please note: if you do not read an announcement concerning updated Forum Rules, then breach them, ignorance of the rules is not a suitable excuse.

Site Development - Please post here if you have any suggestions for the forum. Alternatively, PM one of the Moderators. There is also other useful information found here, and threads for requesting avatars.

SCARECROW

Due to the staged release around the world of SCARECROW, there is a specially designated subforum for the discussion of this new novel. This is to prevent members having the story/plot spoilt by people writing about it in Books or any other subforum. Please note that any discussion which spoils SCARECROW for other members will result in an instant Official Warning, and may result in you being banned from the forum, pending the severity.

Members' Prose Rules

General Information

The Members' Prose section serves as an area for members to write and share their own fiction. Please note that all the General Rules regarding conduct apply in the Member's Prose sub-forums, AS WELL as the following. The Moderation Team reserve the right to review and edit any post that is in breach of rules.

There are two main sub-forums of the Members' Prose section. They are:

Fan Fiction - This is the sub-forum for posting of stories and screenplays/scripts that are linked in some way to Matthew Reilly (please see following rule).

Role Play - This sub-forum is used for Role Play stories, in which members write alternatively, or participate in the story in an active manner. Role Plays are only to be started by the Moderators, or with permission from the Moderators.

Matthew Reilly Link

We ask that there is a link with Matthew Reilly somewhere in your story (hence making it fan fiction). Writing fast paced action is highly encouraged, and provides enough of a link to make a story “Reilly”.

Please PM or email Black Raven (Peter Bower) if you are unsure of the suitability of the story you wish to post. He will review it, and get back to you as soon as possible. Please note, due to other commitments, it may take a week or two. Also, do not send your work for review or critique - he will only respond to whether it is suitable for the forum.

Length

In the Fan Fiction forum, try to limit your story to about 8,000 words. We do not wish to have novels published here. Please note that short stories, as well as short screenplays may be published in this forum.

Any story exceeding this length will be deleted. Please PM or email Matthew Downey if you have a story of longer length. It may be able to be included on an adjoining site.

Format

Please insert a blank line in between each paragraph. This makes it much easier to follow and understand, and makes it easier on the eye. Please, also, use correct grammar - that is, no overly long sentences, one-paragraph stories, one-sentence paragraphs and take a new paragraph for each individual talking. That said - make an effort where dialogue is concerned that conversation isn't a few words spoken by each person.

Finished Works Only

It is a requirement that ALL work posted in the Fan Fiction sub-forum is completely FINISHED. No exceptions will be made. Any work of fiction published that is not finished WILL be deleted. By finished works only, it is meant that the story is COMPLETE, posted in FULL, and the work has a final title. It is expected, as well, that the title is the subject line of the thread.

Since Role Plays involve many authors taking alternate turns to write the story, it is required that only the section of story you are writing is complete. Posting half-finished posts will disrupt the flow of Role Plays, and as such, be deleted.

With Role Plays being written by a single author in the style of "Choose-your-own-adventure" stories, each section up until the choices is to be complete.

Subject/Titles

Please use the story's/screenplay's title as the subject line.

Collaborations

Please feel free to collaborate your stories with other board members. We ask you to use the PM system or email to compare ideas and the story and only post the COMPLETE and FINISHED story. Role Plays may be more appropriate if you wish to compose with other writers alternatively.

Role Play

Role Plays are only to be started after permission is obtained off a Senior Moderator. Please contact any moderator concerning the starting of a new Role Play, and your request will be forwarded on.

There is a restriction to one active group Role Play taking place at any given time. Do not start new ones, nor discussions of new ones, till the active one is finished.

Please obtain permission to join in a Role Play by posting in the accompanying thread (the 'A Word Aside' threads). If the Role Play is drawing to an end, you may not be permitted to join in.

If you do join in, please do not post a one off post. Join in completely, or don't bother. If you need to leave the forum for any reason, please request that someone else involved in the Role Play 'take care' of your character (this can be done in the 'A Word Aside' thread), or kill off your character if you will be absent for a long time.

Do NOT kill other members characters. Do NOT post a part of the story ending the story. Play the role of your character only. You may use other members' characters, but do not make them do anything that seems out of context. Please consult the other member via PM if you wish to do something 'grand'.

Plagiarism

Any cases discovered of blatant plagiarism of other authors work (from the forum or otherwise) will be deleted immediately. This includes using other author's characters. Plagiarism will most likely result in banning, unless sufficient proof can be provided that it was not intentional.

Legal Matters

Matthew Reilly has been gracious enough to allow us to use his characters in fan fiction stories. It’s up to you whether or not you want to use his characters. The only limits are your imagination. You can make up your own set of characters if you wish.

Matthew Reilly has permitted us to use his characters as long as no one tries to sell stories containing Matthew Reilly’s characters for money. If this occurs, The Presidian Moderation and Administration teams will take appropriate action where possible. Matthew Reilly will then be contacted, and he has the right to take legal action against the offender(s).

Please also refer to the rule about Plagiarism. If any member is discovered plagiarising any of Matthew Reilly's work, banning will occur, as well as notification to Matthew Reilly concerning legal action.

Copyright

The author of each story is completely responsible for his/her story. The Presidian and its staff will not be held responsible if part of or all of any story is copied. The author may pursue this with legal action at his/her own expense.

Feedback

When giving feedback, please make it a substantial critique. Do not merely say 'it was good', but rather, say what you liked and/or didn't like. This assists the composer in creating better work in the future.

Scoring peoples work is not permitted. Do not give scores out of 10, or anything of a similar nature.

Language

Foul language is discouraged. Try not to use it. If it is necessary, please censor it as well as possible.

Please make a serious attempt at correct English when writing fictional works for posting. Correct spelling, and decent grammar is expected. This is so that all members may easily read your work. Please note that Moderators will not alter stories unless content is in breach of the rules. It is not the Moderators job to edit stories for spelling, grammar or punctuation. Moderators will not fulfill requests to edit/critique your work. If possible, use a word processing program (like Microsoft Word) to make use of the Grammar and Spell Checks. If you do this, you may need to turn various auto-format functions off. See here for details

Gentle Reminder

To emphasize once more, the Forum Rules apply here. We will not tolerate material that contains excessive swearing or illicit content, that is defamatory, discriminate, or is deemed to be unfit for viewing by the public by the Moderation Team. The Moderation Team reserve the right to review any and all material, and if necessary, take appropriate action against members, remove any stories or posts.

Other Information

Please have fun either writing fiction for or reading work on the forum. Let your imagination run wild!

Any or all questions or concerns regarding the Members' Prose section are to be addressed to Black Raven, as he is the main Moderator in charge of this section. Please do not contact him, however, if you are merely requesting assistance with grammar, or finishing a story. You can Pm him here or email him at Peter.Bower@thepresidian.net.

Fan Art Rules

General Information

The Fan Art section serves as an area for members to post their interpretative images of Matthew Reilly's characters or scenes. Please note that all the General Rules regarding conduct apply in the Fan Art sub-forums, AS WELL as the following. The Moderation Team reserve the right to review and edit any post that is in breach of rules.

There are two main sub-forums of the Fan Art section. They are:

The Sketchpad - This is the sub-forum for you, the members, to post your drawings or graphical compositions. Please note, that these images have to be stored on server space before you can link it to The Presidian. Please see here for assistance. Alternatively, please contact the forum administrator, TheGentleman via PM.

The Gallery - This sub-forum can only be posted in by the forum administrator - TheGentleman. If you have a series of images that you think are good, contact him via PM and he will judge whether they are good, and set up a gallery for your work.

Copyright

The artist of each story is completely responsible for his/her artwork. The Presidian and its staff will not be held responsible if part of or all of any image is copied (with the exception that it is copied and used on The Presidian). The artist may pursue this with legal action at his/her own expense.

An example copyright notice to follow your images is as follows:

'Copyright: (Artists name) (Year). All original ideas copyright of the artist. Characters and events portrayed are copyright Matthew Reilly. Drawings displayed with permission by the artist on ThePresidian.net. No part of this image may be copied without permission by the artist.'

It is suggested you 'watermark' your image. PM TheGentleman if you have any queries about this.

Plagiarism

Please note it is possible to be in breach of copyright with images/drawings just as much as when you write something. Any cases of deliberate plagiarism/tracing/direct copying of other artists images may result in banning.

If any member is discovered plagiarising Matthew Reilly's work, banning will occur, as well as notification to Matthew Reilly concerning legal action.

Size

Do not post images larger than 500pixels width x 500pixels height. If your image is larger than this, please provide a link to the page where it is located, rather than posting the image on the board.

Content

Do not post images that depict gratuitous sex or violence. That said, since Matthew Reilly is an action writer, violence may be part of your image, as long as it isn't extreme. Please use your common sense, or contact a TheGentleman if you are unsure.

All images are to be related to Matthew Reilly's books. They are to depict scenes or characters from these. Other images in posts will be removed.

Titles/Subjects

Please make the subject line of the thread containing your image a brief description of the images. That is, name the character, scene, or at least book from which your image(s) come from.

Feedback

When giving feedback, please make it a substantial critique. Do not merely say 'it was good', but rather, say what you liked and/or didn't like. This assists the composer in creating better work in the future.

Scoring peoples work is not permitted. Do not give scores out of 10, or anything of a similar nature.

Please have fun either drawing work for or viewing work on the forum. Let your imagination run wild!

Any or all questions or concerns regarding the Fan Art section are to be addressed to TheGentleman, as he is in charge of this section. You can Pm him here or email him at thegentleman@thepresidian.net.

A side note:

Thankyou

We'd sincerely like to thank you for taking the time to read all of the above Forum rules. We hope that these rules do not detract from the atmosphere of the forum, as they have been written specifically to counteract exploitation by those who seeking to disrupt the friendly and warm nature of this forum.

Please enjoy the forums!
